Chrysolite Pathfinder Club

The Pathfinder Club is a community service oriented youth organization of the Seventh-day Adventist church. It is open to all children from 6 years and upwards. It was first founded in 1907. The Pathfinders carry out activities such as community service, camping, crafts, class work, marching, Bible study, leadership training, etc. Pathfinder clubs across the world are sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church and participate in numerous activities and events. An annual gathering known as a Camporee is held where pathfinders from various countries will come together to participate in events and competitions as well as religious meetings. more >>

In Chuan Hoe Seventh-day Adventist Church, we name ourselves the Chrysolite Pathfinder Club. Chrysolite is the name of a precious stone and is mentioned in the Bible. The Club meets on the first and third weeks of every month. Club membership is open to all young and old as long as they have a sense of adventure and passion for living life to the fullest.

The Chrysolite Pathfinder Club offers a wide range of activities including, but not limited to:

1. •  Camping & camping/survival skills
2. •  Grade appropriate leadership training
3. •  Activities promoting community pride & involvement through outreach activities like collecting food    for the disadvantaged, health exhibitions, visiting and encouraging the elderly, and MANY more
4. •  Interactive training in a variety of recreational, artistic, nature, conservation, vocational, and outreach    areas, with awards (honors) given for successful completion of the interactive training modules

This is the Pathfinder pledge which is recited at the beginning of every meeting:
